Programs are not tied to academics, but complement UA degree programs. The PLUS Path will not impact any grades.

The PLUS Path is supplemental to academic classes and will therefore not impact any grades.

All PLUS Path offerings are asynchronous and self-paced. You can complete the programs as quickly or slowly as you wish.

Each certificate is designed for learners without prior industry experience to complete in 6 to 8 months on average (3-10 hours per week), fully online.

You will be allowed to complete as many certificates as you wish; however, each program is rigorous and time-consuming, so if you're looking to complete multiple programs, you should plan ahead!

The PLUS Path is designed to be flexible and complementary to your academic journey. It is not directly tied to your degree progress, allowing you the freedom to pursue industry-recognized certificates at your own pace and in alignment with your career goals.

While the PLUS Path operates independently, we also encourage faculty to explore potential connections between the certificates and academic programs where they naturally align. This collaboration can enhance your learning experience and provide you with a comprehensive skill set that combines academic knowledge with practical expertise. So, while the PLUS Path stands on its own, it also offers an exciting opportunity for faculty and students to discover synergies that can contribute to a well-rounded education.
