REU: How to Apply
SUMMER 2024 INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Deadline to Apply
- Submit Application Materials by February 9, 2024.
- Awards will be announced after this deadline and will continue until all positions are filled.
How to Apply
Interested students should submit the following materials:
- Complete this online survey: REU Application Questions
- Email the items below to polymerreu@uakron.edu:
- Letter of Application/Personal Statement clearly stating field of interest, with your name and email address at the top.
- Copy of transcript(s) - (Unofficial (the no-cost-to-you-version) is fine to start. We'll ask for an official transcript if we send you and offer letter.)
- Request two letters of reference:
- Letters should be from an easily-contacted professor or supervisor who has knowledge of the student's scientific skills.
- Professors should email their letters to polymerreu@uakron.edu, using their university/employee email address.
- Be sure your name is at the top of your personal statement!
