Group swim lessons
Improve swim technique in a fun group environment! Our low instructor-to-swimmer ratio helps effectively teach essential water safety skills and swimming ability in a setting that emphasizes positive reinforcement.
Spring 2024 session offerings
Monday evenings (Session B)
April 1 – May 6. Registration ends March 31.
- Parent & Child: 5:00-5:30pm
- Preschool: 5:45-6:15pm
- Youth 1: 6:15-7:00pm
Wednesday evenings (Session C)
April 3 – May 8. Registration ends April 2.
- Preschool: 5:15-5:45pm
- Youth 2: 6:00-6:45pm
- Youth 3: 7:00-7:45pm
- Adult: 8:00-8:45pm
Class fees and registration
$40members
- Parent-child and preschool
- Six 30-minute classes
- One American Red Cross certified instructor
- $50 for non-members

- All youth levels and adult
- Six 45-minute classes
- One American Red Cross certified instructor
- $60 for non-members
- Registration: You can sign up in the Rec or online for any of our classes. Take a look at our detailed instructions and troubleshooting information if needed for online registration.
- Parking: Parking is included if you park in Lot 13. Additional information will be included in your registration confirmation email.
- Arrival: Participants can sign in at the ONAT or Rec center front desk and meet on the leisure pool deck for their first lesson.
What to bring
Swim lesson participants need to bring their swim suit and towel. For Level 3 and higher swimmers can bring goggles as well. We do not provide a towel service nor do we have hair dryers. No other items are needed for swim lessons.
