FUTURE ZIPS DAYS
Offered monthly, high school seniors and transfer students are invited to attend this event to build a personalized preview of your future as a Zip! Meet with your academic area(s) of interest, tour campus, learn about your next steps in the enrollment process, check out residence halls, enjoy lunch on campus, and more.
Academic Visits
These events are for specific academic areas of interest . You can get your questions answered directly from faculty, current students, and staff who are representing that interest area. In addition to touring the academic facilities, you can tour an on-campus residence hall and a few of our most popular campus locations.
UA Preview Days
High school juniors, sophomores, and transfer students get an in-depth look at the most asked about areas: academics, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, student services, and campus life. This opportunity is perfect to learn about your interests and see what The University of Akron can offer you.
Snapshot Saturdays
High school and transfer students, this three-hour visit is the perfect opportunity to gain a broad perspective about life at The University of Akron. Learn about academics, student support services, and campus life. You can tour campus and meet the admissions team, who can explain how the application process works.
GUIDED CAMPUS TOURS
Join our 45-minute presentation about UA with an Admissions Counselor and 90-minute walking tour of campus nearly every Monday through Friday.
TAKE A VIRTUAL TOUR
We offer a range of virtual campus tour opportunities so you can check out campus from the comfort of your home.

HOW SHOULD I VISIT?
We recommend an in-person visit if you can! If you visit in-person, you'll get to see campus for yourself and see if it's the right fit for you. If you can't visit in-person, that's okay. There are plenty of virtual opportunities for you to explore campus from the comfort of your home.
WHAT DO I ASK?
Ask everything! An Admissions Officer will tell you everything you need to know about campus. We also encourage getting to know your tour guide and asking them questions about their personal college experience. This will help you picture what your life could look like in college.
WHEN SHOULD I VISIT?
It's never too early to visit a prospective college! Visit when you feel you're ready. Our free college visits are ideal for you, because you need to, you can visit again! Keep making visits until you've found your new home.
