Language Placement Tests (UA Students)
- University of Akron students may take Spanish, French, German, Italian, Mandarin, and Latin placement testing at no charge through the Counseling & Testing Center - Testing Services.
- Spanish, French, German, Mandarin, and Italian language placement testing is available online through your My Akron portal. Navigate to "My Experience" and select Placement Tests on the left. Each language can only be taken once and exams must be completed in one sitting.
- Latin testing is available online through Brightspace. Contact cctesting@uakron.edu to register and receive instructions for Latin placement testing.
