UA President Luis Proenza appears again on Inside Business' "Power 100" list of the most influential leaders in Northeast Ohio, coming in this year at No. 18.
Other leaders with local ties on the list include:
- Alumna Sandra Pianalto, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland (No. 5);
- Alumnus Anthony J. Alexander, president and CEO of FirstEnergy Corp. (No. 6);
- Alumnus Don Plusquellic, mayor of Akron (No. 14)
In its list, Inside Business noted Proenza's participation on the national Council of Competitiveness and the University's shared-services arrangement with Lorain County Community College, which the magazine said "could become a model for regional cooperation in education."
