The University of Akron Hospitality Club will host a "Night on the Nile"-themed dinner of Middle Eastern cuisine, beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19, at UA’s Crystal Room Restaurant in Gallucci Hall, 200 E. Exchange St.
Flavors and colors of a traditional Middle Eastern multicourse meal will carry through such dishes as hummus, baba ghannouj, dawali, kibbie lamp chops, tabouli, vegetable skewers, chicken and traditional Middle Eastern dessert, as well as wine pairings.
Belly dance performances will complement the event.
The cost is $45 per person, or $40 each for reserved tables of six or more. Seating is limited. Proceeds will help fund educational events and activities for the club. For reservations or more information, call 330-972-6615.
