Whether the conversation addresses global warming or entertainment for college students, topics run the gamut at the UA-Henan Student Forums, which take place every Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Kolbe Hall 81. UA students are invited to join the English discussions, geared to give participants a deeper understanding of diverse cultures and related issues in their personal lives.
“This is a unique forum because the students drive the topics and enjoy direct dialogue with each other,” says Dr. Dale Mugler, dean of the UA Honors College, where the forums were first introduced last semester.
Open to all UA students, this semester’s forums take place through April 27. For details, contact the UA Confucius Institute at 330-972-2013.
