UA Career Fair to bring employers from many fields to campus

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the Peace Corps and the FBI are among the employers expected at The University of Akron's Spring 2013 All-Campus Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.

Sponsored by UA’s Career Center, the fair is open to all UA students and alumni. Professional dress and resumes will be required for entry.

"This is a great opportunity to search for full-time and part-time positions as well as internships," says Mike Kulick, associate director of the Career Center. "Alumni and students from all majors are encouraged to attend and meet these employers."

To help attendees make the most of the opportunity, the Career Center will host two preparation seminars:

• Monday, Feb.18, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Student Union 313
• Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 3 to 4 p.m. in Student Union 316
