Eastern Gateway Community College will again host The University of Akron's Bachelor of Organization Supervision degree for the 2012-2013 academic year. The program benefits professionals who want to move ahead in their fields and develop leadership and supervisory competencies.
Community members are invited to an information session to learn more about the program on Monday, April 23, at 6 p.m. at the Jefferson County Campus Student Center (Room 2102), 4000 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, Ohio.
The program is designed for students with either an associate degree or 60 completed semester credit hours. The offering, according to Stan Silverman, dean of UA's Summit College, associate provost and dean of University College, creates an opportunity for students to advance professionally in their chosen fields. The degree complements an associate degree by allowing students to complete a bachelor's degree in two years.
