Obama event canceled
Posted noon, Oct. 30, 2012 | The White House issued the following statement today:
"The President will remain in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to monitor the response to Hurricane Sandy and ensure that all available federal resources continue to be provided to support ongoing state and local recovery efforts. As a result, the President will not participate in the campaign events that had been scheduled in Ohio tomorrow."

Obama campaign officials say Wednesday's visit by the president to James A. Rhodes Arena is still on.
Limited tickets are available. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public and tickets are free. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
