I am an experienced curriculum developer in higher education with a background being a lecturer and assistant professor in graduate universities in Asia. On the gaming side of things I have competed at a high level in both Counter Strike and Hearthstone. I did my undergraduate work here at Akron in Secondary Education and my M. ED work at The University of Southern California with a focus in Linguistics.

From the moment I started watching old MLG events online, I have been an esports fanatic. After watching for a couple of years, I began competing in Call of Duty while in High School. After competing in six Call of Duty majors, I stepped away from competing to focus on the esports club I started while working on my undergraduate degree at Abilene Christian University. I have a passion for teaching people about the world of esports and do my best to get people involved through competition, community, or broadcasting!

I focus on working to improve the quality of the college experience for students. I got into esports as a fan while watching Call of Duty and Fortnite while focusing on playing games such as Rocket League, MLB the Show, and NHL. I was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan but moved to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I got my degree in Marketing. After Nebraska I moved to Statesboro, Georgia where I obtained an M. Ed in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University while helping start the esports program on their campus.
