2023 OBDC All-Star "Director Recommended" Band

The University of Akron is pleased to offer an additional ensemble band opportunity to high school students:

Participation requirements:

1. Interested students can start the application here
2. NOTE: : Interested students should sign up first and then we will send a recommendation link for your director to complete on your behalf (see below)
3. Deadline to submit your application will be - Monday, October 23, 2023
4. No audition submission is required, but your director will be contacted and must complete a Recommendation Form on your behalf by November 6, 2023

After the screening of Director Recommendations, all students will receive notification of their status in early November.

Those selected to the OBDC All-Star "Director Recommended" Band will receive schedule information in early November.

A $50 fee for administrative costs is required for participation and can be paid during the OBDC All-Star Band registration when students arrive on campus in early December.
