Judge Paul Redmond Michel Joins Center for Intellectual Property Law and Technology Advisory Council
Akron, Ohio, April 9, 2012 - The Center for Intellectual Property Law and Technology is pleased to announce the addition of Judge Paul Redmond Michel to the Intellectual Property Advisory Council.

“We are delighted and honored that Judge Michel has joined our Council,” says Professor Jeff Samuels, director of the Center for Intellectual Property and Technology. “His judgment, experience, and expertise will prove invaluable in advancing the law school’s IP program.”

The event is being put on by the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF), an organization that advocates humane treatment of animals and promotes progressive animal-related laws inOhio. Akron Law Advances to Finals of American Association for Justice (AAJ) Trial Team Competition
The University of Akron School of Law Trial Team members Dan Bray, Daniel Leister, Anthony Wise and Michelle McBee won the American Association for Justice (AAJ) regional tournament in Wilmington, Del. this weekend. The team will compete at the AAJ national championship held in Las Vegas, Nev. on March 24.
