Summer Bridge
During the Summer Bridge program you will live on campus before your freshman year at UA to prepare and ease you into campus and academic life.
About the program 
Many first-year students can benefit by additional preparation, academically or socially for the demands of college life. The Summer Bridge program provides this opportunity, with the additional benefits:
- Live on Campus
- Take a math course and elective course for credit
- Receive tutoring and mentoring
- Attend sociocultural programming
An additional benefit to successfully completing this program is that you will gain admission to the OARS Living Learning Community for your first year of college and continue to receive program support.
Summer Bridge Application
Incoming freshman can apply to attend Summer Bridge by applying for the Choose Ohio First Scholarship using this application which is currently open. It opens October 1st and closes January 31st coinciding with the Choose Ohio First Scholarship. Additionally, students must attend Summer Bridge Information Sessions held throughout the Spring semester. More information will be emailed to applicants.
